There’s a lot to be said about creative folk. First of all, they are damn interesting. Occasionally unpredictable, they have ideas that flow and visions of infinite possibilities. Let’s find out if colleague Priyanka Lakha fits the mold.
As a Client Manager at Solutions 8, Priyanka spends her days dreaming up amazing ways for her clients to reach the most customers with eye-catching content. This includes facilitating user-generated content (UGC) projects and working on social media for clients, the benchmark that sets them up for success.
She is a Creative Director and a Project Manager for one-off tasks that might include audits and planning creative ideas for clients that need a little push in the right direction when it comes to all things social media.
Smooth Sailing
There’s a sense of quiet confidence about Priyanka and it shines through in her demeanor, the way she holds herself, the way she communicates. It’s clear and direct and makes you think you’re in good hands when Priyanka is on your team.
This kind of strength is just what you need and Solutions 8 hit the jackpot when Priyanka came on board. And she, too, finds it’s been a balanced exchange.
“Getting to work with so many amazing people, everyone I’ve interacted with on the team has so much knowledge I can learn from, plus the support I have here is unmatched. Beyond that, there are so many opportunities for growth.”
She joined the Solutions 8 team when her previous digital marketing company HDM merged with us earlier this year. It’s a career situation that she’ll always appreciate because she got to meet many amazing people.
Though it couldn’t have been easy to adapt to a new dynamic in a new company, Priyanka made it look like a walk in the park.
The Creative Part Of Working
The creative spark in Priyanka’s brain makes her the perfect choice for her role at Solutions 8. She’s always been very innovative and when combined with a love of talking and learning about clients’ success stories, well, it’s obvious she belongs here.
She believes she can contribute to the client’s journey, too. Creating product and service ads is a crucial part, which means figuring out different creative avenues for each project that comes along. She has access to numerous resources that act as a great launching pad for every client. Once the foundation is established, it’s a case of all systems go!
And it doesn’t stop there. Our Client Manager reveals her secret to getting stuff done. Something that gets her energized and raring to go: her go-to productivity trick.
“I typically write down every task and highlight them as done. The highlighting part makes me happy because I use pastel highlighters!!”
Nothing like getting your to-do list done! Add to that, A WHOLE LOTTA COFFEE, and Priyanka Lakha is an unstoppable creativity machine.
On The Personal Front
If Priyanka could give her younger self advice, she would take young Priyanka gently by the shoulders, look her in the eye, and say with steady determination:
“What makes you different in life is what will let you thrive one day.”
This is the type of advice we all wish we’d known. And it’s the thriving part that our creative colleague has insisted on focusing on. But she doesn’t thrive alone. No. She’s got a great family that shares her enthusiasm for life and laughter!
“My family could play a 12-season sitcom. All of us are full of energy, life, and comedy.”
She admits it’s not always a barrel of laughs, but what family hasn’t got its ups and downs? In the end, our heart belongs where it belongs. And her heart belongs to any place where she gets to spend time with her loved ones at home. It’s here she cites her favorite dish is either her mom’s chicken curry or her own chicken cutlets.
Family plays a very significant role in Priyanka’s life. The tight-knit family goes on holiday together, and often! Their favorite place to visit is the gorgeous Riviera Maya in Mexico.
“Every time [we go] feels better than the last!”
Our CM believes in aliens and might even think you’re a simpleton if you don’t! And though I would use the word fearless to describe her, it seems odd to mention that Priyanka is absolutely terrified of snakes and horror movies. Of the latter, she says:
“I would have to be tied to a chair to watch them!”
She has chosen two songs that represent the soundtrack to her life. Dancing Queen by ABBA and Head in the Clouds by Naïka. Plus, she’s a fan of Rihanna and would invite the celebrity for dinner if she could.
“That woman is an inspiration!” she adds.
Though she doesn’t have much time to read, Priyanka is partial to poetry which is usually her favorite reading material. And as we look at this last image of Priyanka, it would appear she is an artist. Or a poet. Or a dancing queen. Or a creative queen. Yes. A creative queen.
