Exciting News: Solutions 8 Recently Became a Natural Restorations Sponsor!
Hi, friends! We are thrilled to share some exciting news.
Recently, Solutions 8 became a supporter/sponsor of Natural Restorations, a non-profit organization based in Gilbert, Arizona.
After all, we can’t help but admire businesses that make a difference. We are truly inspired by the movers, shakers, and big-dream-chasers.
And when it comes to Natural Restorations, you can be sure that they fit that description.
Here’s a rundown on what they do (and why they are awesome):
Natural Restorations is devoted to conserving natural land.
Through environmental restoration, education, and outreach, Natural Restorations keeps natural areas clean and open to the public. This way, everyone can enjoy the beauty of Arizona.
Specifically, Natural Restorations is fueled by the following mission:
“To remove trash, graffiti, and anything foreign to the environment from outdoor recreation and wilderness areas while enriching the lives of Military Veterans and other community members.”
They also provide hands-on service learning opportunities to youth and communities throughout Arizona.
Pretty cool, right?
Natural Restorations is at the forefront of positive change.
As a non-profit organization, Natural Restorations depends entirely on volunteers. They host statewide volunteer cleanups throughout the year.
From October to April, these events take place in Central and Southern Arizona. When temperatures rise from May to September, the events are moved up North.
To date, Natural Restorations has removed more than 245 tons of trash and 3,168 square feet of graffiti from natural areas.
But wait… there’s more.
In February 2017, the organization created their first Dedicated Restoration Team. This group includes contracted Military Veterans who take it up a notch and implement additional restoration projects.
Clearly, Natural Restorations knows a thing or two about making a difference.
